Man Hospitalized After Being Hit In Head By Bat On Halloween In Hudson Valley

The incident took place around 8:45 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 31 on Fountain Place, in Poughkeepsie, said the City of Poughkeepsie Poice.

When police arrived on the scene of the attack, they found a man who had been struck in the head with a baseball bat, police said.

Officers immediately rendered aid and secured the scene for Mobile Life. 

The victim was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital and was admitted for treatment. 

Crime Scene technicians responded to the scene to collect evidence.

The victim declined to pursue charges, police said.
